How to Use: For Evaluator

“From the evaluation request to the evaluation result submission – all in one place.”

The evaluation members on Scholarship Commons can perform the entire evaluation process, from receiving an evaluation request to submitting the evaluation result.

1. Evaluation Request

Scholarship Commons allows the evaluator to receive evaluation requests from operating agencies online. A requested evaluation can be checked via email and the [Requested Evaluation] menu, which is always displayed at the top of the website.

2. Submission of Evaluation Assessment

The evaluator can quickly and easily submit the evaluation assessment, all conducted and prepared online. Please click the [Evaluate] button in the [Requested Evaluations] menu to start the evaluation.

Upon starting the evaluation, verification of the eligibility of the evaluator is conducted. A scholarship applied for by a student who has a personal relationship with the evaluator, as a family member, relative, friend, etc., cannot be a subject of the evaluation.

In the next step, enter the personal information of the evaluator, and check the evaluation instructions.

In the next step, the evaluator can conveniently read and evaluate the documents submitted by the students and the evaluation assessment result on one screen.
The evaluator can temporarily pause the process at any time by clicking the [Exit] button at the bottom of the screen, and resume the evaluation by clicking the [Evaluation Assessments in Progress] menu.

Upon completing all the evaluation assessments, please submit them in the last step after verifying your identity to prevent fraudulent evaluation.

The submitted content can be found in the [Evaluation Details] menu. You can manage the evaluation results online.

3. Check Evaluation Results

On the Scholarship Commons website, an evaluator can not only make an evaluation, but can also check the scholarship candidate selection results. You can compare your own evaluation results with the selection results. The scholarship selection results can be checked in the evaluation details by clicking the [View Details] button in the [Evaluation Details] menu.

4. Evaluation Fees Payment

If there is an evaluation fee, the operating agency pays the fee using information provided by the evaluator for the payment of the evaluation fee. The evaluation fee will be paid after the entire selection process is completed, at the same time that the scholarship is paid. Please refer to the schedule specified in the scholarship announcement post for the payment date of the scholarship.
